WACC Launches New Website with Self-help Resources

wacc website

Wellness and Counselling Centre (WACC) has launched a new website (wacc.osa.cuhk.edu.hk) to better support students and staff. The website features comprehensive information on the various counselling services available, including Psychological Counselling Service and Multicultural Psychological Support Service (MPSS). Apart from counselling, students can join our programs or initiatives such as Peer Support Network and Mental Health Initiatives to enrich their university experiences, meet new friends, and support their peers.

WACC supports students through different times and stages of their university journey. When challenges arise, our 24-Hour Emotional Support Hotline and newly launched WACC x TourHeart+ are available, providing mental health support 24 hours a day, anytime and anywhere. In our Self Help Section, students can learn self-care tips along with valuable insights about learning, managing stress and social or emotional distress.

To empower CUHK staff in providing effective assistance to students, WACC offers a range of resources. The new website includes a dedicated Staff Resources section, where staff can access these materials.

Together, let’s cultivate a supportive and caring campus environment.
