On 13 February 2025, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and Kazakhstan students at CUHK warmly welcomed Ms. Aknur Zhaksybay, Vice-Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She was greeted by Prof. Ko Wing Hung, University Dean of Students, and Prof. Andy Wong, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, along with undergraduate and postgraduate students from Kazakhstan.
During her visit, Ms. Zhaksybay emphasized the support the Consulate General offers to students studying overseas. Prof. Ko and Prof. Wong reaffirmed CUHK’s commitment to supporting non-local students. This occasion provided a valuable opportunity for students to connect with their community and learn more about the resources available to them while studying in Hong Kong. It also highlighted OSA’s ongoing efforts to foster a supportive and multicultural environment for all students.
